Site and Server software upgrades!

Its been a LONG time since any releases have been made to the server software, but with great patience comes great changes. I have just finished upgrading YetAnotherSig.com to what will become revision 112 of the server software. Expect YASS Server 0.10.112 to be released within the next day or two. At the same time, an upgrade will be made available for existing installations of 0.9.95.

Issues with the bot

The PHP script that I have been using to send messages, as many of you may be aware of, is rather temperamental. It will usually work, other times it will give cryptic error messages to me. Well, after some investigating and re-programming, I think I have fixed at least one thing that was causing the bot to fail. Simply put, the messaging server was sending data to the bot script that isn't supposed to be there. More technical info after the break.

Its been a little over a week now since I fixed this, and not a single error is listed in the logs!

Downtime issues

The server that this site is on has been experiencing some difficulties in the past few days, no doubt that many users have noticed the "This account has exceeded it's CPU Quota" page. I am in contact with the web host, and the problem is being investigated. Until then, buckle up, because we're in for a rough ride!
